ADDRESSING LABOR FORCE DEMANDS

We are proud to have two innovative public school districts who are pursuing creative solutions to current and projected work force needs.

Through our strong K-12 schools and a dedicated Area Technology Center, Breckinridge County is invested in training the workforce of the future.

BRECKINRIDGE COUNTY AREA TECHNOLOGY CENTER

The BCATC has a reputation of excellence around the state, and is a centerpiece of our efforts to market the county to prospective businesses. A leader in career and technical education, the BCATC recently completed a multi-million dollar renovation and expansion. This investment created larger machining classrooms, double the number of welding booths, and allowed for the addition of a brand new Industrial Maintenance program.
